He oversees a team of analysts and data scientists focused on forecasting EV demand, assessing emerging technologies, and developing data-driven insights that inform client strategy and investment decisions.

Ben brings deep expertise in battery technology, EV market dynamics, and product strategy, combining technical understanding with a pragmatic view of how innovation reaches scale. Before joining E Source, he served as lead analyst at Cairn Energy Research Advisors (acquired by E Source in 2021), where he codeveloped industry-leading models for lithium-ion manufacturing costs and EV battery market forecasts.

He holds a BA in philosophy from Wake Forest University.
